Cranberry and Orange Sauce Recipe

Makes 4 1/2 cups

Ingredients:

  • 4 cup fresh cranberries
  • 2 cup sugar
  • 1 cup dried apricots, chopped
  • 1 cup raisins
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup orange juice
  • 1 tbsp orange zests, grated


  • Instructions:

    1. Put all the ingredients in a large saucepan.
    2. Stir over medium heat until sugar is dissolved.
    3. Increase heat, cover and let boil until cranberries burst, stirring occasionally, about 8 minutes.
    4. Transfer mixture to bowl.
    5. Cover and refrigerate until cold (the sauce will thicken when cooled).
    6. The sauce can be made 4 days in advance.
    7. Store sauce in the refrigerator.
