Hawaiian Banana Muffins or Bread Recipe

Makes 12 muffins

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/4 cups flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 cup Crisco
  • 2 fully ripe bananas
  • 2 eggs


  • Instructions:

    1. Blend Crisco, bananas and eggs in blender; set aside.
    2. Sift dry ingredients together.
    3. Add blended ingredients to dry ingredients and mix lightly.
    4. Pour into lightly greased and floured loaf pan.
    5. Bake at 350 F for 35 to 40 minutes for bread, less time required for muffins.
