Banana Chutney Recipe
Makes about 2 pints Ingredients: 6 bananas
1 cup minced onion
1 cup raisins
1 cup minced tart apples
1 cup apple cider vinegar
2 cup sugar
1 tbsp salt
1 tsp ground ginger
1 tsp nutmeg
1/4 cup cayenne pepper
1/3 cup lemon juice
3 cloves garlic, minced
Instructions: 1. Peel and mash bananas.
2. In a large casserole dish combine all of the ingredients.
3. Bake in a 350F oven for about 2 hours, stirring occasionally.
4. When thickened, ladle into sterilized jars and seal.
