Banana Buttermilk Buckwheat Pancakes Recipe

Serves 4 to 6

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/3 cup whole-wheat flour
  • 1/2 cup buckwheat flour
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 4 tsp baking powder
  • 2 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 4 tbsp butter, melted
  • 1 1/2 cup buttermilk
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 ripe bananas, mashed


Instructions:

1. In a large bowl, combine flours, sugar, salt, baking soda and baking powder.
2. In another bowl, combine remaining ingredients.
3. Add liquid mixture to the dry ingredients, stirring well.
4. Drop by 1/3 cupfuls onto a 340 degree griddle.
