Apricot Almond Chewies Recipe
Makes 80 cookies Ingredients: 4 cup dried apricots, about 1 lb, chopped fine
2 cup slivered almonds, toast
4 cup flaked coconut or macaroon crumbs
1 can sweetened condensed milk
Almonds (optional)
Instructions: 1. In large bowl, combine all ingredients except whole almonds.
2. Chill 2 hours.
3. Shape into 1" balls.
4. Top each with whole almond if desired.
5. Store tightly covered in refrigerator.
