Apricot-Filled Sugar Cookies Recipe

Makes 24 cookies

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup margarine
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • 1 egg
  • 2 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • 12 tsp apricot fruit filling


Instructions:

1. Mix all together except filling to make a soft dough.
2. Roll out 1/8-inch thick and cut out 48 3-inch round cookies.
3. Place the filling on the top of 24 rounds.
4. Cover each with another round, crimp edges and make a slit on top.
5. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes in a 375 F preheated oven.
