Real Apple Pancakes Recipe

Serves 4

Ingredients:

  • 2 green apples, sliced
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/8 lb (1/2 stick) butter
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tbsp cinnamon, mixed with sugar lemon


Instructions:

1. Saute apples in a skillet with 4 tbsp butter until soft.
2. Place in a pie plate or quiche dish.
3. Mix together eggs, milk, and flour.
4. Pour mixture over apples and bake at 450 F until it puffs up and browns around edges, about 10 minutes.
5. Melt remaining butter and pour over baked panckes.
6. Sprinkle with cinnamon-sugar mixture and return to oven for 5 minutes.
7. Squeeze lemon over it and serve.
