Orange Apple Pancakes Recipe

Serves 8

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups bisquick
  • 1 1/2 cup water, or milk
  • 2 tbsp orange peel, grated
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 apple, cored and cut into, thin wedges
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/3 cup pecans, coarsely chopped


Instructions:

1. Combine bisquick, water, orange peel and cinnamon in bowl.
2. Stir until fairly smooth.
3. In skillet, cook apple wedges in butter until tender, about 4 minutes.
4. Stir in nuts and syrup.
5. Heat through and keep warm.
6. For each pancake, use 1/4 cup batter.
7. When done, top with warm syrup mixture.
