Canadian Flapjacks Recipe

Serves 4

Ingredients:

  • 2 cup flour
  • 1 pinch sea salt
  • 1 1/2 cup apple juice or milk
  • 2 tsp oil
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 pippin apple, grated



  • Instructions:

    1. Combine all ingredients, except the apple, with an electric mixer.
    2. Add apple and mix by hand.
    3. Spoon into oiled fry pan, at medium heat.
    4. Turn when bubbles appear and harden.
    5. Brown other side.
    6. Serve immediately with your choice of topping. Honey and maple syrup are best.
