Apple Muffins (No Fat) Recipe

Makes 12 muffins

For each six (6) muffins the following counts apply: 1 Bread, 1 Fruit, 1 Milk, 1 Protein and 1/4 Vegetable.

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup applesauce
  • 1/2 cup apples, diced
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/8 tsp cloves
  • 2 eggs
  • 6 tbsp flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 2/3 cup powdered milk
  • 10 pk sweet and low
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1/2 cup carrots, grated


Instructions:

1. Mix all ingredients. You may substitute Egg Beaters for the eggs and Equal for the Sweet and Low.
2. Spray muffin tin with Pam.
3. Divide equally.
4. Bake at 350 F for 25 minutes.
5. These freeze well.
