Apple-cranberry Chutney Recipe

Serves 2

Ingredients:

  • 2 cup peeled, chopped rome
  • Apples, about 2 medium
  • 1 cup cranberries
  • 1/4 cup golden raisins
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp grated orange rind
  • 2 tbsp cider vinegar
  • 1/4 tsp ground cloves
  • 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon


Instructions:

1. Combine all ingredients in a non-aluminum saucepan.
2. Place over high heat.
3. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
4. Reduce heat and simmer uncovered for 15 min, or until apples are tender.
5. Remove from heat and let cool.
6. With knife blade in processor; add cranberry mixture.
7. Process, pulsing, 1 or 2 times, until combined.
8. Place in a medium bowl.
9. Cover and chill.
