Matzo Omelet Recipe

Serves 4 to 5

Ingredients:

  • 2 white matzos (or farfel)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 onion, grated
  • Boiling water
  • 4 eggs
  • Fat for frying


Instructions:

1. Break matzos into small pieces.
2. Pour boiling water to cover over them and let stand a few minutes.
3. Then drain and beat all ingredients together very well.
4. Heat fat in skillet.
5. Pour batter in.
6. Can be served with jelly, syrup, or sour cream.
