Chinese Omelet Recipe
Serves 6 Ingredients: 1/2 cup cooked rice
3 eggs, separated
4 tbsp butter
1/4 tsp paprika
4 tbsp all-purpose flour
1 1/4 tsp salt
1/8 tsp dry mustard
2 cup milk
4 tbsp grated cheese
Instructions: 1. Cook rice until tender.
2. Rinse with hot and cold water.
3. Make a sauce of butter, flour and milk. Cook until thickened.
4. Beat egg yolks. Add rice, sauce, seasonings and cheese.
5. Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites.
6. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
7. Pour mixture into a greased shallow pan.
8. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes.
9. Serve immediately.
