Angel Pie Recipe

Serves 6 to 8

Ingredients:

  • 3 egg whites
  • 1/4 tsp cream of tartar
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 cup chopped pecans


Instructions:

1. Beat egg whites until foamy; add cream of tartar, then beat until eggs hold peaks.
2. Gradually add sugar, vanilla, and chopped nuts.
3. Fold in graham crumbs; pour into slightly buttered pie plate and bake in 325 degree oven for 35 minutes.
4. Cool; serve with Cool Whip or ice cream.
