Pumpernickel Pus Lumps Recipe

Serves 4

Ingredients:

  • 3 3/4 ounces jar capers
  • 4 ounces tub whipped cream cheese
  • 8 slices pumpernickel bread

Special Equipment:
  • Colander
  • Bowl
  • Spoon
  • Toaster
  • Bread knife


    Instructions:

    1. Carefully drain the capers through a colander over the sink.
    2. Place the drained capers into a bowl.
    3. Scoop the cream cheese into the bowl of capers and mix gently.
    4. Toast the bread.
    5. Spread each slice with a generous glop of pus lumps and serve, open faced, immediately.
