Pumpernickel Pus Lumps Recipe
Serves 4 Ingredients: 3 3/4 ounces jar capers
4 ounces tub whipped cream cheese
8 slices pumpernickel bread Special Equipment: Colander
Bowl
Spoon
Toaster
Bread knife
Instructions: 1. Carefully drain the capers through a colander over the sink.
2. Place the drained capers into a bowl.
3. Scoop the cream cheese into the bowl of capers and mix gently.
4. Toast the bread.
5. Spread each slice with a generous glop of pus lumps and serve, open faced, immediately.
