Cream Cheese Pie Dough Recipe

Makes 3 pies

Uncooked dough can be frozen for up to 2 months.

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 lb butter
  • 1/2 lb cream cheese
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 2 cups flour

  • Special Equipment: Mixer or food processor


    Instructions:

    1. Cream butter, cream cheese and vanilla together in a mixer or processor.
    2. Reduce speed to low and add the flour.
    3. Mix until just incorporated.
    4. Remove the dough from the mixer, form into 3 balls and wrap in plastic wrap.
    5. Chill for 1 hour before using.
    6. Freeze uncooked balls of dough or freeze dough in pie tins.
