Cottage Cheese and Oil Pastry Recipe

Makes 1 pastry

Ingredients:

  • 4 1/2 oz cottage cheese (well pressed out)
  • 4 tbsp milk
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1/2 egg white
  • 4 tbsp oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 9 oz plain flour
  • 1 pk Backin


  • Instructions:

    1. Rub the cottage cheese through a fine sieve, if desired, and mix with the milk, egg yolk, and 1/2 egg white, oil and salt.
    2. Mix and sieve together the flour and the Backin and add to the mixed ingredients, a little at a time, until slightly more than half has been used.
    3. Knead in the rest of the flour.
