Cottage Cheese and Oil Pastry Recipe
Makes 1 pastry Ingredients: 4 1/2 oz cottage cheese (well pressed out)
4 tbsp milk
1 egg yolk
1/2 egg white
4 tbsp oil
1 tsp salt
9 oz plain flour
1 pk Backin
Instructions: 1. Rub the cottage cheese through a fine sieve, if desired, and mix with the milk, egg yolk, and 1/2 egg white, oil and salt.
2. Mix and sieve together the flour and the Backin and add to the mixed ingredients, a little at a time, until slightly more than half has been used.
3. Knead in the rest of the flour.
