Jade Tree Salad Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup safflower oil
  • 1/4 cup tarragon vinegar
  • 2 tsp sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp dry mustard
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan
  • 8 oz sliced water chestnuts
  • 1/4 cup sesame seeds, toasted
  • 1 large head iceberg lettuce
  • Fresh ground black pepper


  • Instructions:

    1. Lightly toast sesame seeds in skillet over low heat.
    2. Combine all ingredients in a large jar; shake to blend.
    3. Chill at least 3 hours.
    4. Serve over crisp, chilled lettuce torn (not cut) in bite-size piece.
    5. Toss with pepper.
