Dairyland Whippersmackers Recipe

Makes 36 cookies

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup shortening
  • 3/4 cup butter
  • 3 oz cream cheese
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 5 eggs
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1/4 cup small Curd Cottage cheese
  • 5 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 3/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 3/4 cup buttermilk
  • 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1/4 sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 12 oz chocolate chips
  • 1 cup walnuts, chopped
  • 1 1/2 cup raisins, simmered and drained
  • 2 pk (10 oz each) peanut butter chips
  • 1 cup coconut
  • 12 oz chocolate chunks


  • Instructions:

    1. Cream shortening, butter and cream cheese.
    2. Add both sugars, and beat well.
    3. Add eggs, sour cream, ricotta and cottage cheese, and beat well.
    4. Add flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt, alternating with milk, buttermilk, whipping cream, condensed milk and vanilla.
    5. Stir in chocolate chips, walnuts, raisins, peanut butter chips, coconut and chocolate chunks.
    6. Drop by heaping teaspoonsful onto a lightly greased cookie sheet 2 inches apart.
    7. Bake at 350 F for 12 minutes.
