Anne's Pesto Recipe

Makes 2 1/4 cups

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cups fresh basil leaves
  • 4 tsp garlic, up to 5 cloves
  • 1/4 cup pine nuts
  • 1/4 cup parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice


Instructions:

1. Put the basil, garlic, pine nuts and parmesan cheese in a blender or processor.
2. Turn the machine on and drizzle in the lemon juice.
3. Continue to puree until a smooth paste is formed.
