Apee Butter Cookies Recipe

Makes 72 cookies

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup dairy sour cream
  • 2 cup all-purpose flour

    • Instructions:

    1. Cream together the butter and sugar till the mixture is light and fluffy.
    2. Beat in egg.
    3. Fold in the sour cream.
    4. Stir in the flour a little at a time, beating till the mixture is well blended.
    5. Wrap the dough and chill thoroughly.
    6. Roll dough on a lightly floured surface to 3/8-inch thickness.
    7. Cut with a 2-inch round cutter.
    8. Place rounds on an ungreased baking sheet.
    9. Bake at 350 till edges are golden, 8 to 10 minutes.
