Chocolate Chipper Recipe
Makes 24 cookies Ingredients: 2/3 cup and 2 tbsp butter, divided
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup dark brown sugar
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla
1 1/2 cups flour
3 1/2 oz macadamia nuts, chopped
6 oz white chocolate, chopped into 1/2-inch pieces
Instructions: 1. Heat oven to 325 F. Grease cookie sheets.
2. In large bowl with electric mixer beat butter, sugars, egg and vanilla at medium to high speed until fluffy.
3. Reduce mixer speed to low, add flour, increase speed gradually and beat just until blended.
4. Stirr in nuts and chocolate.
5. Drop by heaping tablespoon onto cookie sheets.
6. Bake for about 15 minutes or until edges are slightly brown and tops look dry.
7. Cool on cookie sheet on wire rack for about 5 minutes, then remove to rack to cool completely.
