Toll House Pie Recipe

Serves 6 to 8


  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup self-rising flour
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 3/4 cup (1 1/2 sticks) butter, melted and cooled to room temperature
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 1 cup Nestle Tollhouse morsels
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1 unbaked pie shell


1. Beat eggs until foamy.
2. Add flour and sugars and beat until well-blended.
3. Blend in melted butter, milk, and vanilla.
4. Stir in morsels and nuts.
5. Pour into pie shell and bake at 325 F for 1 hour.
6. Serve warm with whipped cream or ice cream.
