Pizza-Pan Chocolate Chip Cookies Recipe

Makes 2 huge cookies

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup butter or margarine, Softened
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 12 oz semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts or pecans


Instructions:

1. Cream cheese adds flavor and a chewy texture to these pizza-sized cookies.
2. Lightly grease two 12-inch pizza pans.
3. Cream butter, sugars, cream cheese and vanilla in large bowl.
4. Add eggs; beat until light.
5. Combine flour, baking soda and salt in small bowl.
6. Add to creamed cheese mixture; blend well.
7. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts.
8. Divide dough in half; press each half evenly into a prepared pan.
9. Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until lightly browned around edges.
10. Cool completely in pans on wire racks.
11. To serve, cut into slim wedges or break into pieces.
