Peanut Butter Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies Recipe

Makes 52 cookies

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 2 tbsp peanut butter
  • 3/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp salt (optional)
  • 3 cup old-fashioned oats, uncooked
  • 1 pk semisweet chocolate chips, (12 oz)



  • Instructions:

    1. Heat oven to 375'F.
    2. Beat butters and sugar until fluffy.
    3. Beat in egg and vanilla.
    4. Add combined flour, baking soda and salt; mix well.
    5. Stir in oats and chocolate chips.
    6. Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet.
    7. Bake 8-9 minutes for a chewy cookie, 10-11 minutes for a crisp cookie.
    8. Cool 1 minute on cookie sheet, remove to wire rack, cool, store tightly covered.
