Hershey's Chocolate Mousse Recipe
Serves 4 Ingredients: 1 tsp gelatin
1 tbsp cold water
2 tbsp boiling water
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup cocoa
1 cup whipping cream
1 tsp vanilla
Instructions: 1. In custard cup, sprinkle gelatin over cold water; let stand for 1 minute to soften.
2. Add boiling water; stir until gelatin is completely dissolved and mixture is clear.
3. Cool slightly.
4. In small bowl, stir together sugar and cocoa; add whipping cream and vanilla.
5. Beat at medium speed, scraping bottom of bowl occasionally; until stiff peaks form.
6. Pour in gelatin mixture and beat until well blended.
7. Spoon into serving dishes.
8. Chill for about 1/2 hour.
9. For variety you may add a dash of rum, Kaluha or instant coffe crystals while beating mixture.
