Hershey Bar Pie RecipeServes 8 Ingredients:Instructions:1. Prepare Chocolate Petal Crust or baked 9-inch pie crust. Let cool. 2. In top of double boiler over hot, not boiling, water, melt chocolate bar pieces with milk, stirring frequently.3. Add marshmallows, stirring until melted; remove from over top of hot water. 4. Cool to room temperature. 5. In small mixer bowl, beat whipping cream until stiff; carefully fold into chocolate mixture. 6. Spoon into prepared crust. 7. Cover; refrigerate until firm, about 4 hours. 8. Garnish with whipped cream or cherry pie filling, if desired. 9. Cover; refrigerate leftover pie. Chocolate Petal Crust: 1. Heat oven to 375 degreeshrenheit. 2. Grease 9-inch pie plate. 3. In large mixer bowl, beat butter, sugar, egg and vanilla until light and fluffy. 4. Stir together flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt; add to butter mixture. 5. Shape soft dough into two rolls, 1-1/2 inches in diameter. 6. Cut one roll into 1/8-inch slices; arrange slices, edges touching, on bottom and up side of prepared pie plate. (Small spaces in crust will not affect pie.) 7. Bake 8 to 10 minutes. 8. Cool completely. There is enough dough for 2 crusts. Remaining roll of dough may be frozen for later use. |
