Instructions:1. Sift together flour, cocoa, bkg powder, bkg soda, sugar and salt.
2. In a separate bowl, cream together 1/2 c shortening, 1 tsp vanilla and the egg yolks.
3. Add the first (dry) mixture to the second alternately with the cup of milk.
4. Drop by teaspoonfulls on a greased cookie sheet.
6. Bake at 375 deg for 12 minutes.
5. Filling: Beat the 2 egg whites at High speed mix together with 1/2 c shorteneing, 1 tsp vanilla , 1/4 tsp salt and the 2 cups of confectioner's sugar.
