Butterscotch Chocolate Chip Brownies Recipe

Makes 60 brownies

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb margarine or butter
  • 2 pounds 8 oz brown sugar
  • 10 eggs, (1 lb)
  • 1 tbsp vanilla
  • 1 lb 8 oz flour, all-purpose
  • 2 tbsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 12 ounces nuts, chopped (optional)
  • 1 lb chocolate chips


Instructions:

1. Cream margarine and sugar on medium speed for 5 minutes.
2. Add eggs, one at a ti me, and vanilla.
3. Mix on low speed until blended.
4. Combine dry ingredients.
5. Add to creamed mixture.
6. Mix on low speed until blended.
7. Add nuts and chocolate chips, mix to blend.
8. Spread mixture evenly in 2 greased 12 x 18 x 2 inch baking pans.
9. Bake at 325 degrees for 25 minutes.
10. Cut 5 x 6.
