Bread Griddle Cakes Recipe - Printable Version Serves 4
- 1 1/2 cup bread crumbs (stale is fine)
- 2 eggs
- 1 1/2 cup milk, scalded
- 1/2 cup flour
- 2 tbsp butter
- 4 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
1. Add milk and butter to crumbs and soak until crumbs are soft.
2. Add well beaten eggs, then flour, salt, and baking powder.
3. Cook same as other griddle cakes.
